Final year Graphic Design and Web Development students presented their final Design Studio 4410 projects this Wednesday morning. The two groups presented two very unique and creative businesses.
The first group, Select Ltd. Edition – a shoe company – emphasized their passion for retail and that they were not marketing just a shoe, but a lifestyle.
Select Ltd. Edition chose Vancouver and Toronto as their destination stores and advertising online and in print as their main means of marketing. The group prepared gift boxes to illustrate their company design and logo.
The second group, 365 – a brand extension of Burton – focused on long boards and long boarding accessories. This brand extension was developed for Burton customers for the spring, summer and even fall months.
Their marketing plan entailed advertising with MTV and Much Music as well as on billboards and in magazines. The company prided themselves on sponsoring young riders. This group made t-shirts in order to display their company design and logo.
Great promise was shown in this year’s Graphic Design and Web Development group – best of luck to all of you in the future!
