Audio/Film Fusion Night Amazes Audience at Dakoda's Sports Bar

News

Monday night proved to be an electric display of student talent from Centre for Arts and Technology’s Kelowna campus!

Students from the Digital Filmmaking and Audio Engineering programs came out and presented their best at Dakota’s Sports Bar & Grill.

The evening began with a performance from Teigen and Nathan – both of which are beautiful musicians. Their folky vibe was both uplifting and touching as they captivated their audience singing familiar songs, both old and new.

Sinfonik, John Bryne and DJ Chaosphere were up next, showing off their skills as DJ’s – also illustrating what our new Electronic Music Artist program can help students achieve!

The Audience at Dakota’s was then treated to two Film Screenings – these screenings ranged from commercials to short films, each very unique and captivating.

One film illustrated a murderer going to confession while the next explored the heart ache that comes with letting go – there was literally a film for everyone at this event!

The evening closed off with a performance from SlenderCase. SlenderCase put on a great, energetic show, which left the audience dancing the night away!
