Blog Series 4 of 4 PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP – FEB 8TH – LEARN ABOUT ADOBE LIGHTROOM

News

Last but not least, we have come to week 4 of our Lightroom workshop blog series… where has the time gone?  This week we will take a quick look at the remaining modules in Lightroom 5:

  • Map – The Map module lets you see where your photos were captured on a Google map. It uses GPS coordinates embedded in your photos’ metadata to plot the photos on the map.
  • Book – Using the Book module you can design photographic books and upload them to the on-demand print website Blurb.com. You can also save your books as Adobe PDF or individual JPEG files.
  • Slideshow – The Slideshow module allows you to create, render and publish a slideshow with audio, video and still images to tell the perfect story.
  • Print – The Print module lets you design custom layouts, (or choose from many included template layouts), save files to allow printing at 3rd party labs, print directly to your home printer and soft proof so you can review and adjust before printing.
  • Web – The Web module can help you publish your work to your website, ftp or create a page/site from a template. You can browse through a variety of flash-based or HTML templates and drop your shots into them. You can then personalize your gallery and let Lightroom generate all the source files you’ll need to place it online.

There you have it!  It is plain to see that Lightroom can become your one-stop shop for all your digital photography needs from import to edit to final output!  For all of you that are participating in our Lightroom Basics Workshop at the Centre for Arts and Technology on February 8th, I look forward to meeting and working with you then.

Hope to see you on Saturday!
