Digital Filmmaking Grad To Release Film Later This Year

News

Kelowna Centre for Arts and Technology’s Digital Filmmaking grad Thomas Bowerbank is releasing a film later this year which explores what life would be like if people were to pursue the things they really want.

Thomas filmed “NICA” on location in Granada and San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua and in areas of Kelowna and Vancouver. During his time filming, he explored what it would be like to live a virtually care free lifestyle.

NICA is a narrative film in a documentary setting which will be submitted to several film festivals later on in the year.

Thomas has extensive experience in the film industry – working for film and production companies as well as independently with his production company, Bowerbank Digital Cinema.
