Hello, my name is Leah de Gooijer; I am a 3D modeler and surfacing artist. For me, art is expression, whether of an idea, an emotion, or of a story. This belief has driven my background in conceptual artwork and acrylic painting, while also leading me to 3D art. I see the industry as a way to take the ideas, the rich inner world of others, and bring them to life through visual storytelling. Each concept I sketch, model I make, and texture I paint is part of expressing what words cannot say. My passion for creating comes from a desire to inspire the same joy and sense of boundless opportunity I got as a child, and still feel today, when watching animated movies. One day I will travel the world, so that I can create and redesign it for others.
