Becky Bors

I was born and raised in Kelowna, BC and ever since I was a child, I dreamt of going out and seeing the world. When I finally got my chance, I traveled all over Europe, and this is where I truly fell in love with architecture and design. This appreciation for history made me return home with a drive to help make my city thrive while helping preserve the past. There is a lot of rich history in Kelowna and while expansion is necessary, it is important to not lose the essence of the community.

My design style modern with touches of natural elements like wood and biophilia. I create functional and creative spaces while honoring the heritage of what came before. Once I complete my advanced interior design diploma, I want to get a job with a local design firm and gain knowledge from an experienced designer. It is my intension, once I’ve completed my hours, to become an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer and help reshape the community that raised me.
