Centre for Arts and Technology is one of the top Canadian post-secondary schools offering diploma programs in audio engineering, digital music production, digital filmmaking, 2d animation, 3d animation, interior design, digital photography, graphic & web design, network systems administration, and network security. Our campus is located in Kelowna BC, Canada and boasts dedicated film, photography and interior design studios as well as digital audio recording studios and 2D/3D animation labs.

Our digital art and technology programs bring industry-leading talent into the classrooms as instructors and mentors and connect students with real-world projects alongside businesses and organizations in these communities.

Centre for Arts and Technology (CAT) and British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) have partnered to create the CAT-BCIT Pathway program: a cross-institutional agreement enabling CAT graduates entry into BCIT’s School of Business.

Alumni Success

CAT graduates go on to be some of the best in their industries; animators, filmmakers, photographers, audio engineers and designers.
These talented artists work with some of the largest blockbuster titles, brands, companies and artists all around the world.
Below is just a small sampling of the titles and companies our graduates have worked with.

2D Animation & Digital Art

Are you an animation fanatic? Does “taking notes” mean constantly doodling and daydreaming about far-away fantasy worlds and colourful characters? If so, 2d animation & digital art is the program for you!

3D Animation

Animation and video games are a bit of an obsession, and a career that requires a suit and tie is just not what you had in mind. Working on the next blockbuster game or animated feature is where you see yourself in the near future.

Audio Engineering & Production

Are you ready to set the tone for your future? As a graduate of the audio engineering & production college program, you could be at the helm of the soundboard for a worldwide concert tour, or recording sound effects for the next big video game.
